I didn't like Canabalt, but there's no denying that Semi Semi Secret games are a talented bunch.
Before they produced Canabalt, they wrote a superb little flash game called Gravity Hook. Now it looks like you'll be able to play this on iPhone and iPod Touch soon - but here's a free PC preview of the game to get you hooked (hah, see what I did there? I made a funny).
Here's the URL for Gravity Hook HD. You can play it in a "virtual" iPhone-shaped window, and I DEFY you to see if you can last an entire lunch break without playing it to bits.
Like a cross between Peggle and Bionic Commando, it's a damned neat twist on retro gravity-based gaming. Day one purchase for the iPhone version then!
