Oh god. Oh no, please no. Oh mercy! Please! Look, take my wallet, my wife, anything. Just noooo please.

Rayman! He's cute, he's cuddly, he has no limbs to speak of but he led something of a gaming revolution in the late nineties, early noughties. Winning millions of fans the world over, the cheeky gallic chappie has been sorely missed.

Sorry, sarcasm filter off. Rayman. You remember him, the infinitely smiling little bastard who jumped, slid and waved his way through several games before being hopelessly upstaged by a bunch of raving cartoon rabbi(d)ts.

Now you can relive the glory days on your iPhone / iPod Touch as Ubisoft are reviving Michel Ancel's hilarious little character for an entire new generation of touch-propelled gaming madness.

It could be good. It won't be but I'm duty bound to stop being a cynical old bastard about game revivals because my therapist said it will help me stop burning things.
